Capitol Hill Courtyard Garden —- Seattle, WA

A series of interconnected garden weave inside, around, and above the dwelling, inviting experience of the landscape on multiple levels. Focused on a central courtyard with Stewartia trees, the ground is planted with a green and black canvas of textures and colors. Sedum planted green roofs creates upper level private landscape with sweeping views over Lake Washington. Silver Vein Parthenocissus vines climb concrete walls, while basalt pavers weave through beds of Carpet Bugle and Western Wild Ginger.
